Office Available! and other things

How is 2025 almost over?

When being a small business owner is just one of the hats you wear, it’s easy to feel this way. Especially if one of the other hats is parent. Between homework, soccer practice, science projects, and the overall mental, physical, and spiritual well-being of the 3 little (and not so little) humans that call me mom, I barely have time to look at the ‘small business owner hat’ collecting dust in the corner.

This is a confession I most likely don’t want to publicly acknowledge, as I face the reality that I need to do some stuff to better market The Workshop.

But here I sit, needing to routinely put content out there to make our website more credible.

But, here I sit, unable to put generic stuff in to the world. Call it the curse of the fiercely independent creative. I refuse to follow the equation that guarantees modest success for the modestly competent human.

Anyways, the small business owner hat is really like 10 hats, all necessary branches of a healthy business. How the heck are ya supposed to wear them all? As a hat rack, or one at a time…always backwards. You can take a guess as to how I do it.

Cheers,

Alexandra
