We Want to Inspire You.
The Workshop began in the minds of Adam and Alexandra a long time ago. In 2011 while living in England, they would routinely frequent eclectic shops, cafes, and bars. There they would eat and drink and scheme about ways to one day do their own thing. They started developing an eye for what gives a space good vibes.
Fast forward to 2017. Adam quit his corporate job and co-founded a tech business. He was working from home and contemplated a co-work membership. None of the co-work places had the atmosphere he wanted. He wasn’t interested in weekly organized events or networking with tons of other budding entrepreneurs. He wanted a cool space to get shit done. And maybe have a handful of other cool people doing their own thing, nearby.
Alex was at home, with two little boys who were finally starting to sleep. Her capacity to think creatively grew and she decided she wanted to create a place both she and Adam could work and create from.
They leased a decrepit floor in an old tobacco factory with the hopes of rehabbing it. Their goal; a creative space for the independent thinkers of STL.
Simply put, The Workshop is a creative work space for the people who routinely and with gusto flip the bird to societal norms, to the establishment, and to anyone who doesn’t think they have what it takes to build the life they want.
